Home Loans

Home loans that fit the way you live

Whether you are buying your first place or moving into your next home, ProNest Finance compares loan options across a range of lenders and looks after the paperwork, from pre-approval right through to settlement.

What we help you with

A good home loan is more than a low rate. We look at your deposit, income, goals and the features you will actually use, then match you with a lender that fits.

Low deposit options

Eligible first home buyers may be able to buy with as little as a 5% deposit through government-backed schemes.

Grants and concessions

We help you check your eligibility for the First Home Owner Grant, stamp duty concessions and the Home Guarantee Scheme.

Pre-approval

Know your budget before you start house hunting, so you can bid and negotiate with confidence.

Fixed, variable or split

Choose repayment certainty, flexibility, or a mix of both to suit your plans.

Offset and redraw

Loan features that can reduce the interest you pay and give you access to extra repayments.

Support to settlement

One broker from your first conversation to settlement day, including lender follow-up and paperwork.

Who we help

Every borrower is different. These are some of the people we work with most often.

How it works

All loans are subject to lender approval, terms and conditions.

Common questions

Straight answers to the things home buyers ask us most. For anything else, give us a call.

Most lenders look for a 20% deposit to avoid Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI), but many will accept 5% to 10%. Eligible first home buyers may qualify for government schemes that allow a 5% deposit without paying LMI.

Pre-approval is a lender’s conditional indication of how much you can borrow. It usually lasts around 90 days, depending on the lender, and can often be renewed.

It depends on your state, the property type and price, and whether you or your partner have owned property before. We will help you check the rules that apply to you.

Fixed rates give you repayment certainty for a set term. Variable rates move with the market and usually allow extra repayments and offset accounts. A split loan gives you some of both.

Usually photo ID, recent payslips or tax returns, bank statements, and details of your existing debts and expenses. We will send you a checklist tailored to your situation.
